If either party to a trial is unhappy with the result of the trial, they may take an appeal to a higher court. In Nebraska state courts, appeals may run to the District Courts, and to the Nebraska Court of Appeals/Supreme Court. In the federal system, appeals may be taken to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and eventually to the United States Supreme Court.

At first I questioned as to whether my attorney was truly on top of things or not due to lack of communication (she was busy working behind the scenes, I later found out). It wasnt long after that, that evidence showed she most certainly was on top of things. I now sit back and let the attorneys handle the case. I dont necessarily agree with how long things take but they are the experts for a reason and the ending result is the most important thing of all. I would like to point out the team work used in this office. If one is struggling on a certain topic, I have noticed others step in to help
