A Country Club for motoring enthusiasts - including sports cars, race cars, and motorcycles. Established in 1996, the Ranch introduced and pioneered this new concept. Just as a golf country club centers its activities around a golf course, this club centers around a purpose-built road racing course.
Two courses, actually, as a second road course has been added to the facility. Think of MotorSport Ranch as a place that its members go to satisfy that "need for speed". Many people own a sports or high performance car, or even a vintage race car. The Ranch is a place to explore the potential of these cars and for the drivers to develop and practice their skills.

Services
The MotorSport Ranch is excited to announce our new Club Race Series coming in 2019. For the first time ever, MSR will have wheel to wheel competitive racing during our member days. The series will take place during a regular member day, and there will be a qualifying and a race on each event day. Participants can run member sessions before the timed events.

1. The female restrooms were amazingly clean and comfortable. ππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎ
2. There was a bad accident the day I was there. A car went off and created a dust up. In the dust, one car hit another. The problem was it took entirely too long for the staff to caution then stop the race and get help out to the cars. I don't know if the tower didn't see the crash and just thought the cars were off in the grass or what happened but it was really bad and one of the drivers had to be air lifted out. Definitely need to up their emergency help protocol.

Great time yesterday at Cresson. Rode the 1.3 and it is challenging for sure. Had the TX Track days group out today. Had 19 Harleys signed up. We made some noise out there. The instructors are top notch and they have a lot of experience giving out great tips and pointers. I highly recommend doing a Ride Smart track day!!

I recently visited MSR for a CMRA event, and as of the end of August 2021 the side we use for the bikes is in pristine condition. The pavilions are nice to keep you a little bit cooler in your pit area, and they have power for warmers. It was a great experience spending the weekend in the hotel across the street and racing motorcycles with friends.

Great fun for the hole family's. Great track and a very supportive staff. I really enjoyed the opportunity to test my skills and the limits of my car in a safe and controlled environment.
Tire Rack and the SCCA are a great way to feed your need for speed. And always open to the general public to be part of the action and personal experience. and chat with drivers and ck out some awesome cars.

This is a great motor speedway. There are two tracks, 1.3 miles and 1.7 miles, each providing their own style of performance driving. The 1.3 is highly technical with tons of turns requiring a great deal of braking (max speed around 65mph) while the 1.7 is better for those after speed (Max speed around 120mph depending on the car and driver).

If you want to see cars going around the track with all types of drivers behind the wheel or drive you own vehicle around the track it is a good place to go. It sure beats the heck out of going to Texas Motor Speedway and spending big bucks to watch cars going around the track unless you want to see wrecks. You might want to spend a few bucks and drive one of the fancy sports cars around the track.
