Once received we will call and schedule your appointment.

TruCare Family Practice is now pleased to offer our patients secure internet access to their medical information on line, so you may view your personal health record at any time or place with internet access. Please provide us with a non-work/employment related e-mail address, and you can access your personal health record from a Smart Phone or any computer with an internet connection.

Trucare offers an in house state of the art Lab Corp lab facility to service all your lab testing needs. This is fully integrated within our system to ensure the most accurate and fast response to all testing done in our facility. Whatever needs arise with your day to day health we work toward offering every convenience and need under one roof.

Worst practice ever. If you ever need to get your records, they are of no help. My daughter is getting ready to join the Army and needs her records and they will not get them to her. I thought they may be getting better, but I was wrong. I will never recommend them and will make a point to tell everyone I know how horrible this practice is. I would not even give them one star, but I have to in order to post this review. I do not recommend them to anyone. They are absolutely the rudest office manager and check in person. Andrea has been my doctor for over 10 yrs. I have never had problems with her

Dr. Simmons gets 5 stars from me! She has been the BEST to my 88 year old mama! Every illness mama has had, she listened to me as her caregiver, and we made a plan of treatment together! We love her!!
Now the office staff, I agree there is much room for improvement! Kindness and compassion needs to be their priority! During Mama’s recent visit, I did notice a difference, so hopefully the issues are being dealt with!

Dr. Locklear has been a true blessing to me and my healthcare. I got more out of one visit with her then I have in a long time. She was genuine and down to earth. Took the time to explain everything to me and how she was going to go about doing things. I feel confident in her skills and will continue to see her. Staff is always eager to help.

If you are looking for a family medical dr. It is NOT Trucare family practice in Lumberton. Worse patient customer service around. I questioned the rule of bringing medication in to your appointment when it is not longer an active prescription and ended in November ( my appt was march). I repeatedly asked how am I going to bring in medication that is gone and no more refills. That question still was not answered and I was discharged from the office. Ha! Sounds like that may have been a blessing. If you want more stress and headaches to add to your pre existing medical issues, then Trucare is the

I moved out to North Carolina and started seeing Dr. Andrea Simmons as my primary care doctor. I was born without my thyroid and she never referred me to an endocrinologist, which is a specialist in the field that I need to see, and admitted she had no idea what she was doing when she would check her patient's thyroids (so instead of referring her patients to a specialist, she kept seeing them without letting them know of her incapability). It was extremely hard to get in to see her because they kept cancelling my appointments. I am now 21 and have to see an endocrinologist but they wouldn't give

They do not care about patients. They speak to you any kind of way they please. They hang up on you. They cancelled my appointment only an hour prior to. I needed to have a hospital follow up for a mass in my lung. I asked for the day off of work a month in advance and couldn’t get another day off anytime soon. It’s very scary to think you could have cancer and no one will help you. They refused to let me see another provider or even have a service order sent for a repeat CT. The front desk and office manager do not need to be in the health field. They showed no remorse or sympathy for my situation
