Firefighters on the Move can help you with a partial or full service move. We treat your belongings as if they were our own. Wood items, leather, glass, pictures, televisions and other delicates are padded with the highest quality moving blankets and secured safely in our specially built trucks for transport.
The moving industry in the State of Nebraska is regulated and governed by the Nebraska Public Service Commission (NPSC). Firefighters on the Move and other local and national companies are required by law to obtain a Certificate of Authority to operate in the State of Nebraska. Our operating authority number is M-14191.
Get your move organized. Make contact with at least two moving companies and get your estimates early so you're not rushed and your desired moving date is not taken. How far in advance should I schedule my move? We operate on a first come, first serve basis. We suggest scheduling your move at least 2 weeks in advance.

I used Firefighters on the Move in January 2022. This was the first time I've paid movers, I wasn't sure what to expect. After contacting them a company representative, Josh, made a house visit. We were provided a quote along with a breakdown of costs. Josh explained that he had estimated 'high' based upon the number of movers and estimated time required. He elaborated that anything I could do to shorten the time of the move would result in cost savings. Understanding the process, I took the time to stage my packed boxes so that they could be easily maneuvered into the truck.

Firefighters On the Move are beyond amazing!! Showed up a little early, busted a**, didn't balk about an extra stop along the way to clear out the storage unit, and were so professional while still being fun! (Lots of "dad jokes" were shared!)
They covered all the doorways, walkways, steps & stairs, and railings.
Not that I wanna move again any time soon... when I do, I'm calling these guys!

Had Firefighters on the move do a small move for us from one apartment to another in the same building. Wyatt and his partner, sorry, I forgot his name, arrived on time. They both were friendly and respectful. Our one concern was the treadmill but Wyatt got right to it and reassembled it in our new place. They both were fast and careful with our belongings. This is our second move with Firefighters and we will use them again when needed.

From start to finish Firefighters on the Move made our moving experience painless and enjoyable. We worked with a 4 person crew (Tony A, Jack N, Austin T and Sam T) and they were AMAZING.
We were moving from our condo into an apartment while we build a house and we will definitely be calling Firefighters on the Move again to help us. Only hoping we can request our same crew!

Josh and his crew did an amazing job with our move! As can be the case there days, the logistics of our move was hectic but these guys accommodated us at every turn! They were highly professional, extremely careful with our stuff and just did an awesome job getting us moved! I’d highly recommend Firefighters on the Move to anyone looking for a fantastic moving company!
