Having become two blended families in 2013, and establishing separate trusts in 2014, we recently found our priorities had changed and were in need of an attorney to advise and revise our trusts. Even though my husband and I are fairly young with small children, we recently had a revocable trust drawn up by Deborah because we are dealing with serious medical issues and wanted to have that assurance. She was very accessible, warm and explained everything to us clearly. After hours of research I came across Deborah Kahn. My sister and I had a scheduled 1 hour Zoom consultation (Covid19 restrictions). She was patient and understanding. We needed help updating our living trust. Ms. Kahn took the time to talk with us, to understand our situation and reviewed our existing trust. She provided us sound legal counsel, which we took to heart. She told us, up front, what her fees would be, which we found very reasonable. She completely understood the changes we wanted to make and provided us an addendum that was straight forward and easily understandable, unlike the language in the original, written by a different attorney. She communicated promptly via email when we had questions, and we finalized everything in a very timely manner

I had a prenuptial agreement with language written by others in the legal field a short time ago. My fiancee and I were in agreement on it and I simply needed counsel to read it over, advise me as to situations that could play out which I may not have considered and sign off on it as my legal counsel for a reasonable fee. Most attorneys I contacted wanted to get more involved in the writing of the already complete document in return for a much higher fee. Others were willing to do the review with no assurance of what the final fee was going to be.
