I contracted with ABD in February 2021. The work was done on the 28th.. The grading was not good. We were left with a place where water stands when it rains where you enter the car. I told both Barneys about the need to grade it for drainage(three times) before the job was done. The turn around surface area was not paved wide enough to back around to turn around without the left front and right rear wheels going off the pavement. I called and communicated numerous times with Barney asking for them to return and widen the area. They said they would. Never did. I finally contracted with

Harry Mullens (owner) promised me that if I paid $15,000 he would chip and tar 3/4 of my driveway and give me a year warranty. Within 30 days of it being completed the drive is completely filled with pit holes. I’ve text, called, spoken with and left numerous messages. I was told last year that he would come fix it and make it right for free. It has now been over 1 year and he refuses to fix it, return any money. Nothing. I literally paid $15k for a drive that didn’t hold up for 30 days. Very disappointed and frustrated with this company. DO NOT USE. Total scam!!

I had them Redo a commercial parking lot on a property I own - it was not cheap by any means.
John ( From Boston) was very responsive before and during the job. After he got paid that was the end of it. We had issues with the quality of their work and I would never deal with these guys again, they are fast talking con artists that don’t stand behind their work. I would not use them or recommend them to anyone.

Working with Asphalt By Design (ABD) was great. My asphalt driveway looked terrible--with potholes and roots from trees pushing up the asphalt in spots. I was dreading the cost to repair it, but the root bulges got bigger and bouncier and I finally did some research for estimates. Barney at Asphalt By Design came by to give me a bid that was much lower than I anticipated.
They broke up the asphalt over the roots, cut the roots out, and patched over with asphalt. All the potholes were filled and leveled--tamping they called it.. And then they went from one end of the driveway to the other with
