Melissa DeHaas is a Colorado native, born in Colorado Springs but moved to Aurora in 1990 and has been there ever since. Melissa has always been strong in Math and found her place when Aurora Financial Ser-vices, LLC (AFS) was born. She went to school and received a degree in Accounting from Argosy Univer-sity.
We have a passion for numbers and seeing those numbers grow. Bookkeeping for us goes beyond just entering the data. We like to be a partner with you in seeing where your business will be in 1, 5, 10 years. We can help prepare your financials to present to a banker. We work with you closely to teach you trends and the numbers to watch.

Melissa at Bamboo Bookkeeping is very knowledgeable with QuickBooks. I have been in tears trying to figure it out and have now met with her twice. After just one session, I felt much more comfortable with using Quickbooks and doing the books for my business. I scheduled another session with her to finish up some end of year stuff and I was thrilled at how quickly we were able to get my books in line. She is an excellent instructor and I would highly recommend her services whether you're a do-it-yourselfer or you want her to do your books!

Melissa is knowledgeable and amazingly friendly. We have a few other business that use a different bookkeeper but when a new partnership was formed we had to find a neutral resource. I interviewed Melissa and immediately knew that she knew what she was doing. She has proven to be amazingly organized and her father is a CPA which added to my confidence.
