I had my first appointment today with Mr. Marion Curtis. He is a very compassionate caring and is very dedicated to helping you. I felt instantly at home and relaxed with him. I felt very happy and relieved that I have found someone who is going to help me get back to the me I used to be. Mr. Curtis is the best of the best in my eyes.

When I moved to Georgia last year, I came to Curtis Behavioral Health as a new patient. I explained to the doctor I had been on medication management for over 10 years, and that I only followed up with my psychiatrist in Arizona once a year, because I had been taking the same medications for such a long period. The doctor declined and decided I needed to come back every 1-2 months for unnecessary follow ups even though I would not be able to request off work or afford it. I tried to make it work and failed obviously, leaving me without medication and severe withdrawals because he would only fill

I was worried about going due to one of the bad reviews left on the google for this place. I ended up being COMPLETELY wrong. I’ll start with addressing the negative comment first.
When I attended, the office seemed very well organized, and I immediately felt comfortable there. I was personally not pulled off of any medications, and Dr. Curtis listened to me when I informed him of my past experiences with medications specially the medications that worked very well for me. Secondly, it’s quite standard for any doctor starting you on medications to wait about three weeks for a follow up then

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Very disorganized. Very dysfunctional. Wean you off your current medications, but does not prescribe enough replacement medications to prevent SEVERE withdrawal symptoms, then won't see you or increase medications for over THREE weeks!!! Also, office calls me on my way to office for IN PERSON visit to inform me that my appointment has been changed to a virtual telephonic visit!!! Totally unacceptable and very, very unprofessional. If you really need assistance and mental heath help, AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!
