Kasilof RV Park
Kasilof RV Park is different from most campgrounds in Alaska. A small, beautiful park with 17 campsites separated by trees and flowers-we are centrally located in the middle of the Kenai Peninsula, the most famous salmon fishing area of the state. We take pride in calling our park a family campground where everyone can relax, get to know your neighbors, spend an evening together around the campground fire-pit having fun.

Well known for wildlife spotting, bird watching, wild flowers, and trout fishing at Johnson Lake. We are close to the major King, Red, and Silver salmon fishing rivers of the Kasilof and the Kenai, King and Silver fishing on Deep Creek and Ninilchik river, charter boats for Halibut on the Cook Inlet, and clamming on Alaska's famous razor-clam beaches.
Services
We do require a non-refundable deposit for holding your reservation. Monthly and summer reservation deposits are $100 and weekly are $50. Weekly reservations are 7 days, monthly reservations are 31 days and summer reservations are from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Kasilof RV Park is located approximately 15 miles south of Soldotna, AK. Turn left at the Sterling Highway mile 110.1 on Johnson Lake Road (across from Central Emergency Facility). Follow the signs on Johnson Lake Road past Tustumena Lake Road to the next left, Crooked Creek Road. Drive 1/4 mile south to the entrance of Kasilof RV Park (21377 Crooked Creek Road on your GPS).
Along with recommendations on salmon and halibut fishing we have a Fish Cleaning Table for guest use. We have experience visiting most of the major scenic sites in Alaska and can provide information on what to see, when to go and how to get there (see Fun Trips). We can also make reservations for you for whale watching and sea life cruises, boat rides to Seldovia, airplane rides to see the bears, and bus tours into Denali National Park.

You will not find a another campground like this! 16 sites, 10 of them with full hookups and they are all separated with trees, grass and beautiful flowers! You are not stacked like wood in a parking lot! Close to great fishing, shopping and dining but you're not in the middle of town. They are across the street from Johnson Lake so you can fish for trout. The owners, Jan and Jon are just wonderful! Many of the campers are regulars that return each year and some stay for the entire summer. Moose visit the campground and they bring their calves! There is an area with a fire pit, laundry, showers

Great place to stay. Loved the setting, hosts were friendly. Bathrooms & showers were immaculate. Couldn’t tear our kid away from Johnson Lake.
