He graduated in the top ten percent of his medical school class at Michigan State University and completed his residency at Bi-County Hospital / Henry Ford Hospital Macomb campus. Dr. Piro is an award winning Clinical Professor at Michigan State University and teaches dermatology to medical students each year on campus.

Dr. Piro and Ashley offers comprehensive dermatology and cosmetic surgery services in Brighton and Howell. We treat people of all ages and skin types. We will evaluate any of your concerns that pertain to the skin, hair, or nails. Research on the cause of acne links it to the hormone changes that take place as young people mature from childhood to adolescence.

I do like the Doctors there, especially Ashley, however, you cannot get an appointment unless it's over a month and a half out. What if you had an area of concern that needed immediate attention? When I called to ask about making an appointment for this reason, I was told that there was nothing available until a month and a half out. What is the point of having a doctor then if you can't be seen WHEN YOU NEED A DOCTOR? Especially if you have something that is concerning and needs more immediate attention. Very disappointing. Be careful when making an appointment. I scheduled a full body check for my husband. He goes and they ask why he's there. He says my wife is concerned about a few moles. They lift his shirt take a look and send him on his way. Less than 10 minutes total in the office and $160 and he's out the door. They told me it was his fault for not saying he was there for a full body check. So your a dermatologist and someone comes in the office with concern for a few moles. You look at only those moles and not the rest of the body? He's been in your office before and your charts would show the last time he
