Mrs. Patricia Craig Booher is a Tennessee native who joined our practice in 2015. She is certified through the Dermatology Nurse's Association as an Advance Nurse Practitioner and has worked in the field of dermatology for over 20 years. Patricia trained under her uncle Dr. Sterling Ruffin Craig for 7 years and proceeded to run his practice independently for 8 years after he retired.
As a Physician Assistant who has received specialized training in dermatology, Mr. Joseph Mallette is licensed and qualified to perform comprehensive dermatological exams, diagnose, treat, and prescribe appropriate medical therapy for your dermatologic needs. His commitment to high standards in continued medical education and patient care are his greatest attributes to furthering our service to patients and their families.
Dermatologists are trained to treat patients from all ages, from newborns to the elderly. This includes the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of problems pertaining to the skin, hair and nails. Conditions common among children are moles and birthmarks, rashes/dermatitis, acne, warts and other viral infections, and insect bites.
A Patch Test is a procedure used to diagnose Allergic Contact Dermatitis (ACD). Patch test techniques for diagnosing ACD have been used for over 100 years and the present test methods are based on the established principle of using a hapten (potential allergen) exposed to the skin via a delivery chamber.

The people here are so friendly and caring. Patricia is my favorite. I guess because that is who I see most of the time. She has the best personality and knows how to make you feel at ease. I have had three different procedures done there and all of them have gone well. This is now my go to place for anything skin related. Give them a try and you won't regret it.

I came for two issues on two separate occasions. The skin cancer on my back was removed completely but the stitches busted open. Not sure if there just wasn't enough skin left to stitch or something else. It may have been my fault so I'm not blaming the clinic. I came to have some small cysts removed from behind my ears and the doctor did not remove them but prescribed me some cream that I didn't feel was needed. I do feel that they could have been removed but that they did not want to. I was disappointed that I came out with the same problem I came in with.

I turned 80 this year 2 years ago i visited the demotology clinic for cancer in ears after 40 years under the sun. pacific ocean and san diego. they sliced and diced both ears till i was cancer free once in left ear twice in right ear. i have not enough words in the english language to say good things about the admirable treatment i received from the entire staff at the clinic. i am looking forward to calling them today for a lesion on my right cheek and with confidence that they will treat me with great respect and kindness as they always do. these people are exceptional and a credit to their

The staff are friendly and efficient. Patricia has been taking care of me since I first started going here, and she is always so cheerful and takes away any anxiety I may have. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs to have their skin checked regularly. Even had squamous cell removed from my chest a few years ago, and you can barely see the scar.

I absolutely LOVE Patricia Booher! She and her staff are so kind, welcoming, and always willing to help me in any way needed. I have been a patient of hers for years and have always had a wonderful experience with everyone in her office. From the moment I walked in everyone was so nice. The receptionist was so kind and so helpful and made just coming in enjoyable. The nurse was also very kind and I enjoyed talking with her about my needs of the appointment and just talking and learning about her and her family. Joseph was and is always super nice and very thorough with his exam. They are still practicing under covid guidelines and I appreciate them and their staff for a wonderful job well done.
