The dictionary defines "transition" as a movement, passage, or change from one position, state, stage, subject, concept, to another; to change. Transitions Yoga opened in 2008 at the time Sigrid Strebe was working with elite and professional triathletes. The movement from one event to another in a triathlon is called transition; just like transitioning from one position to another in yoga.
Various times on our regular schedule Cost: First Studio Class at Transitions Yoga is FREE. Check the Schedule to save your spot. Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing and mindful practice. In this slower-paced flow class, each pose will be held for extended amounts of time. Focus is on the breath to allow tension and stress to melt away from the body.
Easy Flow - Strong steady holds in postures with a focus on alignment. Starting at the floor and moving to standing for several series of poses and then transitioning back to seated. No chaturangas and no standing to floor and return to standing flow. Focus on learning the basics of postures and building confidence while gaining flexibility and strength.
Reserve your spot from the classes on the schedule page and you'll receive a link to the Livestream class on zoom. After you've completed your Intro to Aerial class you will be able to use your regular class pass to attend classes. Interested in learning in a one-on-one setting or just hanging out with your personal pod?
Curious about what you'll learn in Yoga Teacher Training?. Join us for a FREE short master class from Stephanie and Sigrid followed by a Q&A about Yoga Teacher Training. This workshop is all about bringing awareness to the hips, and their connection to the rest of the body. Learn why it's important to be aware of tight muscles when you practice and how to safely flow through poses when tightness is present.

Positive: Professionalism
I bought a 90 minute introduction/ private lesson to Ariel yoga for my teenage daughter and a group of friends. They loved it! The instructor did an excellent job, the girls learned a lot and had fun. I highly recommend it!

What a lovely little studio. Everyone was so welcoming when I joined the community after moving to Bismarck a few years ago. Sigrid is by far my favorite instructor, but all the instructors have the same positive, light-hearted attitude. Nobody takes themselves too seriously.

I always enjoy my time at the studio. I've had a few different teachers, and they're all lovely. It's my number one choice of a studio when I travel to Bismarck.

This studio offers classes for everyone at all levels of practice. All of the teachers are friendly, welcoming and helpful. I always recommend to try as many classes and as many teachers as possible, you never know where you're going to find your flow. First class is free, give it a try!!

So friendly and welcoming! Great classes! You come in door #6 it’s on the same side as Washington St. It should be pretty simple to find. If you look down the long hallway and think, no way, that’s exactly where the front door is.
