Front staff was extremely rude and unwilling to help us. Staff was outside walking their dog and while the patient was in the back room waiting. She then returned and said that it was to late to start the surgery and proceeded to CHARGE US $400 because we took their time?? WE WERE THERE AND ON TIME AND THEY WALKED OUTSIDE! Outrageous experience and would not recommend ANYONE to go here.

I had a wisdom tooth extraction, and it went all well and everything. The only thing I will say, that I felt uncomfortable, especially going home after the surgery. The doctor did not speak to my mom or myself before or after the surgery. The anesthesiologist told me my allergy was basically invalid, and I had to get a different one because I am deathly allergic to a numbing agency commonly used. As well, after the surgery I was waking up and just looking for comfort and crying just asking one of the nurses to hold my hand, and they swatted my hand away. Need I mind you, I was alone while waking

If I could give them zero stars i would. I woke up the day of the wisdom teeth removal with a little runny nose ( it had rained that night and my allergies acted up a little more than usual today) and MINOR drainage. not to mention, i went to the doctor two days prior because my close friend i spend a lot of time with got diagnosed with an upper respiratory bacterial infection so i wanted to be safe and make sure i wasn’t sick because i had a little (and i mean LITTLE as if it was nothing) runny rose due to allergies so i got tested and the doctors said i was fine for my teeth removal. DONT EVER GO HERE. They are a complete rip off. My 19 year old daughter was on time for her appt told them she had Minor drainage and we paid the 700 something up front then an hour later they told her they couldn't do it wasn't in her best interest. Then charged us 400 for wasting their time. All the while the dr was outside with her dogs. RIDICULOUS

Worst front staff , ive worked in medical field for 32 years,27 of it in doctors office. YOU NEED TO GET PAST FRONT STAFF to get to staff in back so they can have best doctor but if front staff is bad it is not worth it. RUDE and very unprofessional, while talking to one the other girl laughs about our converstation and made a comment as we walked out. They also break about 3 HIPPA violations while you are at desk. WORST STAFF and if I could give you a ZERO I would.

I saw Dr Covington a couple of weeks ago for a little touch up (chasing my youthful appearance)
The office was incredibly kind, organized and the office was beautiful and clean.
Dr Covington listened to my concerns and was extremely thorough and careful in my procedure and now two weeks later I see less lines on my face and the results are fantastic. I would 10/10 recommend and will return here soon!

Not very accommodating. They would not work with me. Pre-op I had to take my 2 year old special needs child with me and they wouldn't let her in. My husband was luckly across the street and came and picked her up and took her to work...🙄 Today was going to be his day to get his wisdom teeth out but my 12 year old can't watch her in our van. ( if I left her home with her and she called it would have been a 45 min drive)(I felt it was safer to have them closer)Never said that was a rule and told me that they won't reschedule him and to go elsewhere. They are rude!!! Glad I didn't give them a dime

Today, I had an abscessed tooth extracted by Dr. Covington and her staff. The first available Oral Surgeon opening was for May 27th. Waccamaw Oral Surgery worked me into there schedule in one day to help with my pain in a timely manner. I filled out the forms for them the night before and when I arrived they got me into the chair quickly and removed my tooth without my feeling it come out. No pain during the removal and my prescriptions for pain were called ahead and taken before the nova cane wore off. I had not had a tooth extraction since the military doctors took my wisdom teeth out in 1974

I called this office before getting my tooth pulled to ensure I would be covered by my insurance. I told them I had Delta Dental and needed to use an in-network facility. They said I would be covered and I was told how much it would cost, which was in accordance with my Delta Dental plan. However, afterwards I was billed for additional costs by them because they are actually in the Delta Dental PREMIER network and charged more. They never told me this up front. I called Delta Dental insurance and explained the situation and they said the office should have told me they were Delta Dental PREMIER

Best dental experience I ever had! I walked in feeling very nervous as I dislike going to the dentist. I have to tell you that my worries subsided when I met the great staff and Dr. Covington. I expected to be in the dreaded chair for a little bit anyway, but I wasn't. 3 minutes top for this amazing doctor to extract my tooth. I felt no pain at all!! I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Covington to anyone that may need her services.
