My name is Greg Sweat, and I am the founder of Providence Pest Control. I first fell in love with the "Bug Business" way back in 1996. My initial career path was in retail management, but because of the 70-hour weeks, I was looking for something else. A co-worker of mine whose family owned a small pest control company suggested I check out that line of business.
I inquired about an open position and the rest is history. I started on a pest route with my eye on a future management position. I absolutely loved the work. Solving problems for my customers gave me a sense of accomplishment that kept me motivated and striving to become an expert in the field. Just moved here from out of state, and I’ve never been happy with the bigger pest control companies, so I went with this local one since all reviews were great. Greg was prompt and very professional, and seemed to do a very thorough job, educating me about his findings during the process. His services are very affordable compared to the big companies, and I have no doubt that I will be satisfied in the long run.

Providence has been helping us with rodent problems that we've had this year. We are very impressed with Greg's diligence and professionalism, and the comprehensive service (metal/mesh covers on all possible access points, poison bait stations outside, glue traps inside). I've used Providence Pest Control for the past 3 years and they are an amazing pest services company. Communication and customer service have always been top notch. Greg has always been extremely punctual and he is great with reminding you when your service is coming up. I actually never remember him being late the whole time I've used their services. He is very knowledgeable and can explain any work he's doing and what he's targeting. I've had to request additional services if I see a spike in activity and he is usually out within a day or two.
