Double King Chalet is the ultimate lodging facility with two bedrooms (Kings in each), fold out couch in the living room and master bedroom. Two baths, as well as a real dining room and full kitchen. Holiday Haus is located where the action is in Mammoth Lakes.
We are a short 5 minute walk to the Village at Mammoth where you will find restaurants, shopping, mountain biking and of course mountain access via the Village Gondola for skiing and snowboarding.During the summer months, we are in close proximity to the many music venues, including Bluesapalooza and other Village events.

This place is actually great assuming you don't care about taking a hot shower.
We asked about having the hotel turn up the boiler or fix the hot water somehow, and we're told that we should just "wait an hour" until everyone else coming back from the ski slopes is done showering. "It's probably just because everyone is using it." How hard is it to predict that at Mammoth, when the slopes close, everyone will go back and want a warm shower after a day of sweaty skiing? If your system can't handle a few off-season skiers wanting a shower at the same time, then maybe you don't have the capacity

I'm writing this at 2am. We can't sleep since it is too hot. There are no ACs in the rooms.
We got here tonight after driving for 10 hours today. Normally you would just take a shower and pass out from all the hiking and driving. But that's not the case for us. It's very hot in here. We've been all struggling to go to sleep for the past 4 hours. We've had to keep the window and door open to help cool the room down.
I can see the room next to us are struggling to sleep as well as they are trying to open and close the door and use their door as a fan to help drop down the temperature. Probably

My fiance and I planned a trip to Mammoth Lakes and were in search of a nice and clean Motel to stay during our visit! Holiday Haus exceeded our expectations! We loved that there was kitchenware and eating utensils in the kitchen and extra pillows and blankets for comfort! The couch and bed were also incredibly comfortable!
We're planning another trip next year, we'll definitely be booking another stay at Holiday Haus!
