Dr. Friedrichs graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with her undergraduate degree in biology. She earned her medical degree, also with honors, at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford and finished her medical internship at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois.

My experiences at Radiant Dermatology have always been tremendous. Starting with the receptionist being very courteous and friendly; the nurses and assistants that pre-OP the office visits, taking the necessary information with a very professional attitude, but also keeping me comfortable; and the Dermatologists Amanda and Ashli have been very professional in determining what prognosis had to be addressed and resolve issues quickly.

Didn't wait for very long so that was nice, but the nurse practioner I saw didn't really do much investigation. I came in for some moles I was concerned with and a lump on my shoulder, and she only looked at both for maybe a total of 5 minutes. She didn't even feel the lump with her hand, just said yep it looks like a pimple. Sure I know it LOOKS like it, but if she would've run her finger around it she would've felt the large lump underneath. She is probably correct statistically speaking but I am not willing to gamble my life on that. Getting a hopefully thorough second opinion. Can't believe

I was concerned about seeing Dr Fredricks. I have never had a full body inspection and I was very concerned about a couple "spots" on my body. But the whole office staff and the doctor were wonderful. They were calming, professional, and very friendly which put me at ease. The doctor had wonderful "bedside manner" and helped to relax me and when she had to do a biopsy of one of my spots, she explained everything and all of the "what if's" for me. Very comfortable atmosphere, I felt at ease when coming here. The office was super maintained, and very clean. Not to mention the staff was very friendly, and made everything that much easier. Do not go to Dr Friedrichs for filler! I have thin lips and told her I wanted them 'Kylie Jenner' full. I brought a pictures of what I wanted them to look like. She injected me with Juvederm Volbella which, at the time I didn't know what the difference between the fillers were. One syringe cost me $650. It looked great when I left and a few days later it looked like my normal lips again. The staff was very welcoming and friendly! I have a difficult schedule, the staff was very accommodating and were able to get me in right away. Ashli was very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail. Radiant Dermatology went above and beyond and made me feel very comfortable. I got her physician's assistant when their computer emailed me that I had an appointment when I did not. She proceeded to do a procedure my previous dermatologist said that my insurance covered. When I complained by not getting a refund, Radiant Dermatology REFUSED to submit the procedure to my insurance.
ALSO, THE assistant neglected to tell me that there would be 15 ugly red spots on my face for at least two weeks, ....she just mentioned it would be "pasty". I will never go back there, I like the 28 years of experience I have found in Batavia.
