Services
Current furniture + lighting inventory is available for temporary rental for home staging, film, television + photography shoots, and events. Please inquire for rates on specific pieces and availability. Atomic Threshold provides interior spatial analysis and consultation for customers in order to maximize the continuity of their home or office environment.
The gallery space is located about 30 minutes outside of Downtown Los Angeles in Monrovia, California. If you're a local buyer in the Los Angeles area, please contact us either via e-mail or phone to set up an appointment for viewing any pieces you're considering. Appointments are available 7 days a week.
Deliveries within a 20 mile radius [ Silverlake, Los Feliz, Glendale, etc ] - $50 flat rate Deliveries within a 40 mile radius [ Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City, etc ] - $75 flat rate Deliveries outside these distances [ Palm Springs, OC, San Deigo, Central Coast ] - Please inquire. For medium to small items [ lighting, nesting tables, coffee tables ] are typically shipped via UPS Ground or Greyhound.

It appears that Atomic Threshold does not respond to their customers concerns. Â
We bought a dining room table and four chairs several years ago from Atomic Threshold.  The set was used about a dozen times as we rarely entertain.  We recently moved and started to use the set again.  One of the chair legs broke horizontally just below the seat.  We called Christian Boehr in May 2020, explained the break and asked if the chair could be repaired or replaced.  He asked us to send a photo of the chair and the break, which we did.  We called, texted and emailed and never heard back. Â

I cannot say enough great things about Atomic Threshold and Christian. His merchandise is of the highest quality. We purchased quite a few items from Atomic and have not regretted any of our purchases. He delivered everything as scheduled and in perfect condition all the way to Palm Springs for us. If you are looking for Modern Danish/midcentury Modern - you have to definitely check out his inventory. He even reupholstered dining room chairs for us so that I could get the color I wanted and it was very reasonably priced.

This store has amazing European pieces. Christian finds these pieces from Europe, brings them home and refurbishes them to their original state, if not better! We purchased a teak dining table that he had added an extra leaf and the woodwork was extremely impressive! You'd never know, the wood grains were spot on. You need to make an appointment to view his inventory, which there was a decent selection when my husband and I were there. Don't expect to just drop by. We will be back soon to hunt for other pieces to our home!

So happy with our purchase! We found a beautiful coffee table through the online shop and purchased. The owner, Christian, contacted me right away to arrange shipping. It was packaged in a custom wood box very carefully and arrived promptly in perfect condition. Christian maintained good communication, letting me know when it was shipped and providing tracking info. Item was exactly as described and we are very happy with the purchase!
