Stop by today to experience a unique Hoosier winery and Midwestern winemaking at its finest! We offer free daily tastings, weekend tours, music events, and plenty of Midwestern hospitality. Ed's first grapes were planted in 2002, with the help of his son Byron. These grapes are now known as "Byron's Vineyard."

Traveling down the Interstate or local. Carpenter Creek Cellars is the full realization of two dreams: Ed Courtright wanted to grow grapes in northern Indiana to supply wineries in the area, and Randy Rottler hoped to start a small winery. After meeting and discussing some preliminary business ideas, Randy and Ed took a third partner and created a dynamic partnership, starting a small winery and vineyard.

Really quaint place with a great staff. We met Randy Rotter, the head Winemaker, and he talked about his passion for making great wines and experimenting with new items, like bourbon barrels from Four Roses to make an interesting Zinfandel.
We were there at harvest; my son even got to help pick grapes!

Always a welcoming place to visit. Nice fills with very nice wines. Excellent stock and selections. You can enjoy a drink on the patio, listen to some music or go inside and have a tasting. A great little get away.

Perfect spot for a quick wine tasting and break from traveling on the highway! We stopped by on our way back home and it was perfect! Staff was super friendly AND they are dog friendly! Zena loved meeting Port! The wine was also fantastic, we recomend trying the Traminette. Definitely will be stopping by next time we are in the area :) And we'll be ordering online too! Obligatory picture of Port and Zena is attached!

A very nice winery / cellar that has tastings and some unique varieties! The staff was very friendly! They walked us through a wine tasting, never been haha. They also have a dog which was adorable and friendly! Getting there with signs on the road was a little difficult. Could have easily missed one of the signs on the main road. Some of the roads twist and turn quick going out there as well. Other than that, it's a nice location and go and enjoy some local wine!

Stopped here on our wine tasting tour and it was a hit! Lots of samples that all tasted amazing. We even got a tour of the back room where the wine is made and learned a little about the process. Would definitely visit again!

Nice little winery. Source their juice from California. Had a great selection of sweet to dry wine. You can taste all their wines for free. Like most Indiana wines, they lean toward a sweeter palette. They have nice seating area/patio.
