Services
Polynetics was founded in 1963 by Charles A. Pernice when he moved his family from New York to California. Having served his country in the USAF and Air National Guard as a flight engineer on a B29 bomber and pilot in training, Charles drew from his Air Force experience that gave him some insight into the aircraft parts marketplace.
For 54 years Duonetics has been a key resource for dozens of So. California based companies in the aerospace and commercial industrial manufacturing industries. We've evolved over the years to include a variety of key capabilities including advanced 5 axis machining and assisted our clients in solving production problems and improving their products.
Duonetics started out with precision balancing services at its core with several balancing machines of ranging capacities. This competency is central to our versatility and we've invested continually to improve this facet of our service. With 6 balancing machines on our floor we can efficiently process parts weighing just a few ounces up to 1500 pounds of rotating weight.
10 years ago we took a serious look at 5 axis machining and ordered our DMG DMU60 Monoblock 5 axis milling center. We have always bought the finest equipment money can buy and our DMU60 was consistent with that tradition so it made perfect sense to purchase our DMG 85 Monoblock a few years later. DMG is arguably the world's finest 5 axis machine manufacturer and boasts one of the largest and most modern production facilities in all of Europe.
Duonetics' continuous improvement policy drives us toward a zero defect quality record. Our AS9100 QMS policy controls every aspect of production from quotation to finished product. Our inspection laboratory is managed by strict control of the inspection process including every inspection gage and measuring tool used for production to insure 100% dimensional and contractual compliance.
