Jefferson Machine Company (JMC) is a heavy equipment / crane parts and machine shop located in Punxsutawney, PA. Founded in 1939, we have grown to over 50 employees. Jefferson Machine has an extensive inventory of replacement Lima and Manitowoc parts in stock. JMC also offers OEM Tower Crane Parts for legacy Terex brands, including Comedil and Peiner.
Jefferson Machine provides Shop Service from our fully equipped machine shop, offering welding and fabricating, as well as a gear shop. We are able to reverse engineer any part for which we do not have a mechanical drawing. Jefferson Machine provides On-Site Field Service to nearly any area of the world.

We stock or manufacture a large assortment of hard-to-get crane parts, including new, rebuilt, or used crane parts.
Crawler crane parts, truck crane parts, lattice crane parts, dragline crane parts, and many others. We manufacture a wide range of parts and stock frequently needed "off-the-shelf" crane parts. Sloppy and imprecise work and way overpriced.
I was looking for a machine shop that would do smaller jobs like cut key ways in shafts. When I went to Jefferson Machine the guy at the counter said they love to do small jobs, just bring whatever you have. Well I needed 4 key ways cut in 3 shafts, one on each end of the first and one a piece of each of the other two. I brought in the 3/4" shafts, the custom sized key way and the gears that would go on them and explained and wrote down everything. Lee, the guy at the desk said no problem, the night shift would do it and I would have it tomorrow. As
