If there was a way i could give zero star i will. I have been shopping in this store (Baytown Food Town on North main) for more than fourteen years at least twice a week with my family. How ever today, i could not believe what happened to me at this store. I went to the store to get my groceries, one guy ( his name Tracy Fleming, states he is the manager) walks up to me and tells me i need to leave the store. I asked why, he said i was begging for money outside the store and that is not allowed. This came to me as a shock. I asked him if he was sure of what he was saying and he said i had to leave

Cashiers are always nice , nice little pizza/boba/taco stand with really nice friendly people. Tbh if you don't have food stamps , wic , or you're scraping by on nothing and trying to feed a family then this isn't the store for you. I've been going to this place since I was a kid & from a little girl coming to this grocery store every two weeks when mom got paid kept me fed. But if you're more of a quality heb/ Whole Foods typa person , this isn't the place for you.

It's okay if you're coming to shop for cheap stuff, please set your expectations to lowest possible level. Don't interact with customers in the parking lot. Don't talk to any sales at those auxiliary stores inside here. Your trip would be a better one.
Right before #HurricaneHarvey, I decided to skip my usual H-E-B store because of traffic getting there. I thought I had everything I needed. Well, I always over-prepare myself and keep the leftover for daily consumption.

Went here to pick up some stuff. My cashier was Abigail and she was very rude to me. She was giving me an attitude when I simply wanted her to try to scan the coupons I had. When I handed her my coupons she took 2 minutes to read the back of my coupon. She called her manager over and he agreed so there was no point in me arguing. I've tried those coupons at another food town location and it worked perfectly fine. She made me feel so embarrassed when I had to return the stuff I was going to buy. I will never return to this food town location again.

This store is not very fancy and more like a warehouse in appearance but they have the best price on butterball turkey's for Thanksgiving every year and they have great prices on the things that are on sale in their newsletter. They threw in a free 7-up with each turkey purchase. They also have fresh fish that is fairly cheap.
