When massage therapist, Sue Ashton, and her husband, Dr. Andrew Ashton, a chiropractor, purchased A Therapeutic Effect in 2007, they had no idea how quickly their vision for becoming the premier wellness center in the greater Lancaster area would be realized. Within a year of revamping A Therapeutic Effect's services to focus on wellness, they acquired another local business with similar services.
