Brenton Koch, MD, FACS, is a board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and native of Iowa. He is founder and director of Koch Facial Plastic Surgery & Spa in Des Moines, Iowa, where plastic surgery of the face is his exclusive specialty. His patients appreciate his kind, approachable personality and the natural-looking results he provides.
Pam Banyas, PA-C, is a very important member of the team at our Des Moines, Iowa, facial plastic surgery practice. She is a certified physician assistant with more than a decade of experience in the field of aesthetic medicine, in both surgical and clinical settings. Born and raised in Tama, Iowa, Pam is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and received her physician assistant training at Des Moines University.
Brent and Cody Koch and all the medical providers at our practice are supported by a professional staff that is specifically trained to care for plastic and reconstructive surgery patients. I went to see Darya for under eye filler. She quite literally nailed it. She listened to what I wanted to achieve and she understood the assignment! At 37, I’ve never looked better. I ended up going back for lip injections a couple weeks later and they look so beautiful and natural! I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I will never go anywhere else.

Darya was absolutely incredible to work with!! Best med spa experience I've had in Des Moines hands down. My services were explained thoroughly to me, and I hardly had any pain at all with the injections (which I was not expecting!) I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Darya truly wants you to be happy with your results, and goes above and beyond to do so. Absolutely will be returning. Highly recommend!!

I had lip filler done by Pam in December 2020. I got a full syringe of juvaderm in my lips and a bit in the smile lines. I felt as though Pam listened to the look I wanted to achieve while still injecting in the appropriate sites. The environment was very inviting and well maintained. I loved it so much I went back on 4/7/21 (my birthday) for another 0.4 mls. A nice perk of this med spa is they keep you're unused filler for a whole year and you can go back at any time free of charge to use the rest of the syringe your purchased. Each full syringe is $500, so it is expensive but worth it.

I would like to share my ongoing and overall experience with Dr. Cody Koch. I relocated to Iowa from Dallas, TX where I had visited a total of 5 different doctors with regards to my acne scarring. They all recommended and executed on their plan to diminish the appearance of my acne scarring. Due to the propensity of hyperpigmentation on my skin, most had very ineffective treatments. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like the doctors in Dallas were committed to a long term approach, but rather something that would give me a more immediate result.
