Services
We were founded in 1970 by Ray "Jr." Kurtz in Orange, California, hauling PVC pipe and fittings throughout the southwest, hence the name Plastic Express. We purchased our first self-loading pneumatic bulk unit in 1975 which put us officially in the plastic bulk transportation business. In 1981 we branched out to New Jersey and began a steady growth period throughout the 1980's, adding bulk terminals in Arizona, Nevada, Illinois and Minnesota.
We are ideally located on the east and west coasts ready to handle all of your import and export requirements. Plastic Express is committed to ensuring that our customers' needs are met every day. We offer same-day packaging and delivery services with professional, experienced drivers and employees on call 24/7.
At our ISO 9001-2008 certified packaging and distribution centers, Plastic Express utilizes modern inventory handling and packaging systems to meet our customers' packaging and warehousing needs. We have fully automated palletizers for our bagging lines and super sack filling machines servicing our customers throughout the U.S. We have a customized software solution to track the individual packaging job and update you on the status of the order.
Plastic Express services customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico from our bulk terminals and state-of-the-art packaging facilities strategically located throughout the United States. All our bulk terminals offer high-frequency railroad switching and interface with all US and Canadian Class I Railroads.

We hire only experienced drivers, and require each one to complete extensive training on the proper handling of bulk plastic materials.
