Campground was not in good shape at all. Restrooms and showers were filthy and wennt uncleaned the 2 nights we stayed there. WiFi was non existant except in one small corner of the park at the top of a hill. We were told that it didn't even work in the office which was in a low section at the entrance. We would certainly avoid Wisconsin Dells for any future trips. As one wisconsin Travel Guide described the tow as the most tacky location in America, we would certainly agree. Avoid this location at all costs.

This is a great place to stay with lots of activities for the kids both in the campground and surrounding area. The bounce pillow and playground are wonderful. The pool and splash pad are great. The sites are level and have lots of space. The laundry is quick and the dyers work!
The showers are lukewarm and you have to keep pushing in the button for water. The basketball trampolines seem a bit out of shape. Many of the springs and netting are missing and I was worried one of my kiddos would fall out so I only let them in 2 at a time.
These are minor things and we would definitely stay here again

Sherwood Forest is a clean campground and the employees are kind. We literally slept in our camper & didn't do a ton at the grounds as we were so busy doing other things in the Dells. We utilized the pool/splashpad & bounce pillow a couple times & our kids had a good time. The public showers/bathrooms are a ways away from certain campsites, so if you use those over your camper a lot, be for-warned you will have a walk. The firewood at the campground didn't burn well, not sure if we got a bad bunch, but we could not get a fire to keep burning.

Sherwood Forest has a nice pool and is in close proximity to the downtown Wisconsin Dells area. Unfortunately that's about all we really enjoyed about this place. We were here over the 4th of July weekend. We expected the place to be packed, but it was just an uncomfortable place to be. At times this place resembled a tent city. The roads to our campsite were very narrow, many campsites had multiple vehicles parked, and there didn't seem to be much care as to where people parked. It was pretty chaotic. Our neighbors were smoking weed, which was annoying and happened at just about any time of the

Sherwood Forest was Fantastic!! We had some truck issues the day we arrived. Becky (AKA - Wonder Woman) stepped up and went above and beyond. We are extremely grateful for her kindness and compassion. Also, the park was family friendly & an absolute blast. I can't say enough good about this place and the staff! We are customers for life! Thank You!!

Very crowded campground on weekends. So many people without the common sense not to walk through others campsites. Bathrooms are very gross as I believe they are only cleaned once per day. Lots of hair in the sinks etc. Showers are also quite dirty and water only stays on for 15 seconds and you have to keep pushing it in. Water also goes from cold to warm back to cold. We will likely stay somewhere next time we are in the Dells.

Stayed a week for my child's 6th birthday. From day one, each and every staff member of Sherwood Forest was welcoming and friendly. Extremely professional crew ! Always smiles and helpful. My site was gorgeous and clean. The entire facility / restrooms / laundry were always clean. I have read a rare negative review here and I have to say from my own personal experience, they are simply untrue. The place is amazing fun and beautifully run. Thank you for making my week wonderful and we will see you next time we stay at THE SHERWOOD FOREST ! Rivera-Mahon
