We took advantage of our time while you were away and put in new flooring, a paint job and gave it a fresh look! We are now seating at the Bell Buckle Cafe or you can eat outside across the street at the new Gas Station Pavillion! I arrived in Bell Buckle, TN for Daffodil Days. The weather was wonderful and it was the perfect day to shop.
We went to the Bell Buckle Cafe and ordered pork chops, green beans and potatoes. Wow! It was home cooked and fresh. The cafe was busy, but they were good about getting us seated at a table as soon as there was an available spot. You must try this place! It is a must - go -to restaurant. Local spot packed with short wait.

I love this little restaurant. The furst time I came, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast, really not expecting much. It was very delicious however! I ordered it again on my most recent visit. Bell Buckle makes a fabulous day trip and this cafe is the perfect place for lunch. Everything we ate was delicious. My favorite sides are the fried okra, fries and broccoli salad! Staff is friendly. We did not have reservations on a Wednesday and had no issues getting a table. I'm not sure if they accept reservations or not. I believe they used to have live music on the weekends in the summer. Not sure

I will never eat here again! I will not recommend it. My food was nasty and cold. Was cooked with onions and didn't say on the menu it was. The chicken tenders were so hard and dry you can't eat it. The chicken and dumplings didn't have dumplings. The owner was rude and didn't care and actually blamed us for bad food. There was a quarter size bone in the green beans and the pulled bbq was stone cold.

Historic building in a cozy storefront shopping location brings back memories of good old-fashioned food and gathering.
The menu has a large variety of good old-fashioned homestyle foods. There is definitely something for everyone.
When we went on a Saturday night, they were busy, but our wait was only 15 minutes for a party of 8.
The service was quick and friendly. We placed our order, and our meal was served in about 25 minutes.
Everyone enjoyed their meals, but those that ordered the chicken pot pie became the envy of the table.
Recommend this location and it will be a place we visit again

Great MC ride destination. I have been here several times and the food is always fantastic. Several choice on meats and vegetables. A good selection desserts. Apple peach or blackberry cobblers. Ask for the dessert special for the day. The place is usually crowded on weekends so be prepared to wait. I usually call when I am about 1 hour away and get added to the waitlist.

Food has been very good lately. It's freshly prepared and served hot. Employees are very nice and the owners treat you like family. They even will speak and talk to you when you see them away from the restaurant. The surprisingly good thing on the menu is the hush puppies which would make a great appetizer. If you are going at a busy time (especially the weekends) I'd recommend calling ahead and getting on the wait list or I believe they also take reservations. If you require special access for the handicap, I would also recommend calling ahead to see what you need to do, there is a step

We were there on a Thursday for lunch, you would not think that it would be crazy busy in May, and it wasn't. We waited five minutes for a table. We waited for over 45 minutes for our food and went and got to our table it was cold. Nothing like cold chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with white gravy to make you feel like you will not go back. They offered to remake it, we had already waited 45 minutes. Their excuse was they had a lot of carry out orders. Really, all they need to do was carry our food from the kitchen to our table. They comped me for the chicken fried steak and potatoes

Wow. Just happened on this place and so glad I did. Much larger on the inside than looks from the outside. Had the meatloaf and red beans rice. Excellent just excellent. Also had roasted chicken with dressing and the corn bread dressing was comfort food at its best. Not a long wait. Staff was great. Charming place. Check it out.

Found this small town on our way to the Jack Daniels Distillery. One of our groups Mother said this place was OK. Place was packed and had s short wait.
Most of the employees wore masks except for one "young" female who thought it would protect her and her customers more around her neck!
Not bad homemade cooking. Liked the menu with several items on it. Food was brought out in timely manner and hot. Nothing special just good old home cooking.
Like I said just traveling through but you should try it for lunch or breakfast.

My family has eaten here several times now and it's been spectacular every time. Service is always friendly, we haven't had to wait long any of the times we came (perhaps because we have had a large group), though I understand sometimes this place has a long wait. The food tastes just my grandmother was in the back cooking away, rest her soul. My top choices are the turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, fried corn, and vinegar slaw. Macaroni and cheese and chicken tenders is generally what my kids choose and they love it. My dad and husband tend to get the chicken fried steak

The famous Bell Buckle Cafe! Located in the heart of downtown in this quaint little town..expect a wait around lunch, especially in the summer or on Saturdays. There are so many daily specials to choose from that it's really a hard decision. The sides are fresh and delicious. If you're hunting a solid home cooked style meal, this is your place! Something for every taste.

Well folks wear your stretchy pants here. Don't eat breakfast and get your name on the list.
Corn nuggets as a started. Hot and fresh ask for ranch!
Meat and Two!
I ordered the catfish, pinto beans, and broccoli salad. All things delicious. The homemade tartar sauce is flavor packed. Everything was just like grandma's made with love and straight from the soul.
I also had a bite of the chicken fried steak very tasty and the okra had a good crunch too.
Then yes of course plan ahead because you're gonna want to have dessert. Grit cake all the way it was warm and phenomenal.

Sooooo good! Can't believe it took me so long to visit! Everything was delicious; super creamy Mac & cheese, delicious roast beef & mashed potatoes, and very friendly service. We all agreed it was similar to Cracker Barrel but better tasting. The cutest lil town with so much history. You could just imagine how many people have crossed through those doors . This place was about an hour away but we'll be back soon! Definitely recommend!

This was the first restaurant I've been to in six months and I enjoyed it. A three-hour wait on the Interstate (caused by a carjacking/murder) spoiled our planned trip to Chattanooga, so we went to the Bell Buckle Cafe for solace. The wait was short and our waitress, Amy, was great, Tables are separated and all staff wear masks; at my advanced age I do not want the "prevailing disease" and was glad to see that.
The food was excellent; I had about the best cheeseburger ever. I like the way that all extras are placed by the burger in the basket and you fix it that way you want. My

We stumbled across this restaurant while looking for antiques. Evidently people come from all over the U.S. to eat here. The day we were here there was a two hour wait to get a table so we got our food to go.. I will say the fried chicken was some of the best that I ever had although the portion was a little small. Their roast beef is also very good as is their mashed potatoes and macaroni salad. My wife said their pork chops were also very good but wasn't impressed with their meatloaf. She says their Mac and cheese was ok but she didn't like their turnip greens but that was mainly because

When reviewing any restaurant one must take into consideration the ability of the establishment to live up to the expectations in relation to the value of the food and the personality of the service.
Walking in the door we had high hopes. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Small town cafe advertising down home comfort food.
We drove over an hour to visit Bell Buckle and to have lunch at the cafe based on previous reviews. To say that we were disappointed would be an understatement.
The sign on the wall says "we serve comfort food" but honestly it should read we serve

Your options are limited in this tiny tourist trap- but you can't go wrong with this cafe. Serving standard diner style fair- everything was fresh and delicious. Reasonably priced. The cafe was very busy bustling with activity. Interesting pictures and artifacts there was plenty to look at and photo for yelp. I especially love the giant business cards on the ceiling.

This little cafe is right south of the twilight zone, it's a few block passed Wally's Service Station in between Floyd's Barber Shop and the Drug Store - I jest of course but if you blindfolded me and dropped me off on the side of Webb Road I'd be on the shoulder waiting for the Darlings to drive by to hitch a ride into town so I could catch a bus to Mount Pilot...seriously this is way country, the food here isn't served, it's dished up.
The selection of food is amazing they serve both comfort food and food that will make you extremely uncomfortable after you clean
