Easy to maintain and operate; gas fireplaces are a clean and energy efficient option for heating your home. Using gas as a heat source means there isn't messy cleanup from developing soot or ash like wood-fueled fires that also create a by-product called Creosote. Gas fireplaces work with the push of a button so you can enjoy heat on the fly without time consuming clean up.
Gas stoves are highly efficient, clean-burning and require minimal maintenance. They're easy to operate with the flip of a switch with options for remote control as well. Great experience working with Mark and Cindy at the Heart and Hearth Shoppe! Both were responsive to my questions about the wood stove, chimney liner concerns, and the installation. Their installer, Michael, did an excellent job on a very difficult installation. I completely trust them and my new Pacific Energy wood stove. A big THANK YOU to Mark, Cindy, and Michael!

I am a property manager and have several different cabins with different kinds of fireplaces. On 4-17-19 Mark came up and serviced and diagnosed issues on three of them. He not only serviced them, he cleaned them, and diagnosed a problem on one of them. Let me tell you...Mark knows his business and if you’re considering buying a gas fireplace you need to go through him. Down the road there will be a time you will need him and he will take good care of you. I highly recommend the Heart and Hearth Shop in Rapid City.
