I am a Sampson County native and graduated from Lakewood High School. Upon graduating high school, I decided to spend my next 4 years at the beach while attending UNC-Wilmington. I graduated in 2006 with a Business Administration degree with a double concentration of Management and Marketing. I've been married for 9 years and we have a 7 year old daughter and a 3 year old son at home.
My family is the highlight of my life. We spend time together as much as possible and enjoy traveling to Massachusetts where my husband's family is at least once a year. Medicare can be very confusing for most people. One of the big things to consider is to actually work with an independent broker. My clients get to be in on the discussion when it comes to planning. Term life insurance provides a death benefit for a certain amount of time. Pricing can be lower however there is no guarantee of coverage once the agreed upon term has expired. Premium will increase at the end of the term. Whole life insurance provides a level guaranteed death benefit for the duration of your life.

I was on the fence a year ago about buying Medicare supplement insurance because I was in good health. Fortunately Brittany explained my financial exposure without additional coverage. I relented and signed up for the plans she recommended. Fast forward to this August and I ended up in the hospital for 3 days. $16,000 plus dollar hospital bill and I only paid a small deductable. Mrs. Day was very helpful to me as I had many questions about getting insurance coverage for myself and my family. I had recently changed jobs and did not yet qualify for company coverage. She was able to answer all of my questions and guide me through what was, to me, a very difficult process. She also saved me a lot of money that I would have spent otherwise.
