This business was established in 1985 by William (Bill) Burger. In 1991 he employed Ann Scott who had been in the tax preparation business since 1979. Upon his retirement in 1996, he sold the business to her establishing Scott's Tax Service, Inc. Spencer Tax Service Inc strives to provide excellent customer service.

Absolutely the best, easiest tax service we have ever used. Daniel prepared our taxes, and we could not have asked for a more seamless experience. He was super knowledgeable, and we left there knowing 100% that everything was done accurately and professionally! HIGHLY recommend. As long as we live here, Spencer is the only tax service we will use moving forward.

Best tax experience EVER! I cannot recommend Anna and Daniel at Spencer Tax Service enough. Taxes has always been a pain, but with Anna, we were in and out in thirty minutes, learned SO much and felt so pleased and confident with our taxes complete! She even gave us resources that will help our business out in the long run. Give them a visit and you will not be disappointed !

Very professional and efficient small business.
Decided to look for a local tax preparer 3 years ago when I moved here since H&R Block wanted to charge me $400+ to prepare my taxes. Spencer tax service provided better service at a third of the cost and I couldn’t be happier. My other option was filing myself, but I would much rather spend a few extra dollars and have peace of mind knowing it was done correctly, not to mention supporting a local small business.

Anna is the absolute best. Her and her husband always make our time there super enjoyable, they are super easy to get along with and they do an absolutely amazing job every time. Anna always talks us through everything so we understand what she is doing, and she also doubles as my CPA for my own business and has been a GAME CHANGER with tracking my expenses and revenue to help get the most back during taxes. We have used this company for many years. Ann the former owner was great always friendly and helpful. Now the new owner Anna is just as great, she has helped me with things when we had to be out of town because my husband was injured and I couldn't be here. She is so nice.
