Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a cognitive-behavioral therapy treatment that focuses on thought and feelings for post traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, and related conditions. This treatment is a specific type of CBT that focuses on reducing symptoms of PTSD that have developed as a result of enduring a traumatic experience(s).
Couples Counseling is counseling designed to help couples understand and settle problems, address unhappiness, and reduce conflict in their relationship. Through participation in solution based therapeutic sessions, couples may gain the insight, develop communication skills, and begin practicing the patience necessary to maintain a long-term commitment.
This therapy group is designed to educate individuals about issues related to substance abuse, psycho educational groups and cognitive behavioral groups. With our substance abuse groups, learn triggers that contribute to relapse and develop skills to maintain healthy relationships and healthy living.
EMDR is an evidence-based treatment that enables people to heal from symptoms and emotional distress that are a result of disturbing life experiences. EMDR incorporates bi-lateral stimulation using either visual, kinesthetic, or auditory processing. It assists individuals in processing disturbing events, that have been locked or stowed away in the nervous system, by allowing the brain to process the conscious and unconscious material.
