I worked with Mike Baughn at Prudential many years ago and appreciated his honesty and positive, friendly personality. He has been our Erie agent for over 25 years and has always been responsive to our calls/claims (not many claims, thank God). I have “shopped” Erie several times, but have stayed because of Mike and also, we could not save $ for the same comprehensive coverage.

CAUTION: BAIT AND SWITCH DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES
If you are receiving a quote from this agency, request it be sent through underwriting first to verify the amount before switching your insurance provider and providing any payment. We received a quote, paid the entire annual premium for both home and auto, and received a notice that our auto insurance quote was incorrect and the rate would be going up an additional $600-700 per year all because the person quoting us auto insurance failed to perform the correct due diligence when providing our quote. They brushed the issue aside stating that

Someone is always able to answer any question we might have and if they couldn’t they would find out and respond back in a timely manner.your office cue staff is always friendly.
