Services
As an orthopedic surgeon, I believe it is crucial in developing a solid, trusting physician-patient relationship. Educating my patients about their conditions and options gives them the tools to be involved in the very important decision making processes and treatment options available to them. Surgery is always a personal decision.
Appointments can be made during the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm Monday through Thursday and from 8am until noon on Fridays. New patients can call our office at (850) 257-7097 or use the contact us page on the website. Spinal Associates provides a spacious, clean and comfortable waiting area that is equipped with a flat screen television and WI-FI access for all patients.
I couldn't have asked for a better outcome with the surgery. I had immediate pain relief and full strength. I'm extremely grateful for the talent Dr. Reed has as a spine surgeon and the ability to give people back the quality of life they are accustomed to. Dr Reed is amazing. After many years of back pain he has relieved my pain and gave me my life back. He kept me up to date with my problem and plan of care step by step. We reviewed before and after x-rays with each office visit. He explained my surgery in detail and my recovery time. He supported me with a caring staff with each step of my care. Complete waste if my time, I was back in my car within a half hour of my appointment time and that was including xrays. The Dr seemed to like to hear himself talk and didn’t order any additional testing or treatments for my pain, other than things i have already done. I have myofascial pain and I realize that some think this can’t be cured, but I feel there must be a cause other than an underlying muscle weakness. I had spinal stenosis and could not put any weight on my right hip. Dr. Reed started me out with an epidural shot which removed my pain. However, a few months later I could tell my pain was returning. My surgery was the first week of February, 2020. Three months later I'm walking 2 miles/day. Now I am back to 3 miles a day every morning with my dog. Every visit I've had with Dr. Reed has been great - no lengthy wait times and the staff is quite knowledgeable and friendly. After herniating 5 discs in my Lumbar spine, and even after a discectomy, I was told I would be in a wheel chair the rest of my life. This was 8 years ago. I went to see Dr. Reed and he operated on me within a week, and made me a top priority. Dr. Reed saved my life and I am definitely not in a wheel chair. I feel better now than when I was in my 20's. I have zero back pain and can finally live life to the fullest. I would recommend anyone I know to Dr. Reed. His bed side manner with patients is amazing, and his current staff is in one word, SUPER!

Horrible! Micheal Reed's office forced me to pay for his antique X-ray machines Xrays before I enter and the office extorter said I could take my copies with me when I go. It was a lie. They would not let me have them and refused which is a violation of HIPAA laws. I will be filing a complaint with Federal HHS and the State of Florida. Furthermore this office is much worse than this. I came in for my appointment and they stuck me in the little room waiting for almost 2 hours before the so called doctor comes in.
