Cortisone is an injectable anti-inflammatory that has been used for decades to treat chronic or acute inflammatory conditions of the body. On reoccurring or complicated ingrown nails, a simple 3 minute procedure may be performed that consists of removing the edge of nail and applying a drop of specialized chemical into the area.
In an attempt to reduce the financial burden that is frequently associated with surgery, Dr. James established and organized the Sunnyside Surgery Center. This center was established in 2004 and shares the same building space as the Teton Foot and Ankle Center. The Surgery Center is proud to provide state of the art equipment and ancillary needs necessary for the performance of foot and lower extremity reconstructive surgery.

My wife went to Teton Foot and Ankle due to pain from Plantar Fasciitis. They performed tests and cortisone injections (which didn’t help) to confirm her Plantar Fasciitis, gave her a recommendation for inexpensive insoles she could find a Sportsman’s Warehouse, and charged her $700 (with insurance) the visit haha. I feel like we wasted our money completely. So my recommendation is that if you think you have Plantar Fasciitis just save the $700 and go buy some decent insoles! You’ll be money ahead.

They have literally changed my life. Old injury, turned to them, and was corrected in one surgery. Less than 3 months after, I was better than I'd been in years. Amazing staff all around. They also went to bat for me through insurance and are simply the best business I've worked with, medical or otherwise. I actually miss seeing you all! ...but hope I don't have to again.

Dr Michael James, he operated on my foot, because I had broken my metatarsal. He was very understanding and he explained everything. I am still going through recovery, I haven’t had any pain at all. Overall he is the best doctor to have your foot looked at. I would recommend him to anybody, that breaks their foot.

Dr. James is wonderful. The service is excellent and efficient. There was no wait time. We went right into the doctor. Dr. James is so nice and kind. He knows his stuff and is completely honest with you. He tells you how it is and the options you have. I feel truly cared for whenever I need to go to Teton Foot & Ankle.
