R. Paul Witt grew up in the construction industry and knew that he wanted to be a builder at an early age. Paul moved back to Florida from California in 2007 to raise his family and start this now thriving firm. With his years of handling multimillion-dollar projects in one of the hardest states to get a project through permitting, he brings vital experience and environmentally friendly standards to our growing company.
R. Paul Witt founded the company in February. Working from his home office and several Starbucks locations, our founder secured his first projects. Our first project was a Planet Beach Spa located in Jacksonville, FL. Our first office was located in the historic Klutho building, designed by famous architect Henry Klutho, in the Springfield area of downtown Jacksonville.
The success of this project had much to do with the companies who designed and built the site. Paul Witt of RP Witt Construction Inc. was the General Contractor; Robert Walpole of CHW the Engineer; and John Donahue of Donahue Architecture was the Architect. RP Witt Construction, Inc. has completed several projects for Kimco Developers and is in progress on another Kimco project.
RP Witt Construction's Hotel Portfolio includes many hotel brands such as Hilton, IHG, Marriott, Choice Hotels, Starwood and Wyndham. Our experience in the Hotel market includes Design-Build, Construction Management, and General Contracting. As an Owner, you look for high quality and low maintenance and RP Witt fulfills your wants by utilizing our experience with construction means and methods as well as assisting in material selections.
