I was very happy with the fast turnaround time and quality of the work when I had two sets of wheels done recently. OC powder coating has it together. At first when I walked in I was slightly worried because the shop isn't specifically set up around doing wheels and they obviously do whole other types of bigger commercial projects. My fears could not have been further from the truth. I dropped off 8 beat up wheels and three days later I had them back looking better then brand new. I had some ideas of specific colors I wanted when I walked in but after describing the look I was going for with

My experience with this company was exceptional from dealing with the Guys on the phone to the Gentleman at the desk. The pressure was on 4 chairs and a table base, powder coated for my mother in law. Job was completed in 1 day amazing and the first words out of my mother in law mouth they're beautiful Thank You Orange County powder coating.

Talked to both Matt and Chris on the phone and in person. Both crazy knowledgeable and nice. Had 4 wheels powder coated and charged me $25 less than another powder coating place in OC. Also did my wheels in 24 hours! Can’t recommend these guys enough! For-sure will be going back for whatever else I get powder coated next.

Steve is awesome. No explanation needed. I had 4 wheels I wanted re-powder coated from silver to gloss black. Months ago I emailed several places in Orange County for quotes to do them, and he was the only one who responded, and quickly. I finally pulled the trigger and took them in. Couldn't be more pleased. Coincidentally I found out that people I know have taken their business to him as well, good to see that he takes care of his customers. I feel its hard to find honest businesses like this nowadays.

Just called for a quote and the man who answered was really rude, as if his time was more important than answering my questions over the phone. These custom shops and specialty shops should really focus on having better customer service, they aren't the only ones who provide these types of services now days.

We wanted to change our tub/shower hardware from brass to chrome. Instead of buying a whole new set with mixing valve & then hiring plumber to install, we took the pieces to Chris & Dave at Orange County Plating where they chromed them. They did a great job and we saved a bunch of bucks. Very pleased.

I came to get an estimate for some chrome parts, but the powder coating guys said the Chrome people are never there after 1:00pm, and they're the only ones able to give estimates. (Really?...no chrome people after lunch?)
So I went to another chrome place down the street who ended up being extra nice, everyone was working, and gave me an estimate at a great price and time frame.

What a great community-friendly business OC Plating is! I discovered them for the first time a month ago, when, during a bathroom remodel, our faucet hole was drilled into the countertop too close to the sink (my fault). The easiest remedy was having a fabricator make a larger faucet baseplate (escutcheon, for faucet experts). The faucet store employee said it would probably cost $50 to have it made + $35 for chrome plating. It did cost $50 for the fabrication, but OC Plating quoted only $25 for the chrome. I have been using these guys since 2005, from building award winning sema cars, to concourse Porsche's these guys know plating and powdercoating. Their ability to sandblast on site and the amazing QC job they perform is above top notch. The prices are fair, they are old SALT ORIGINAL OC, and they are a family owned business. I dont know what else you want, these guys are the american dream in cigar smoke, chrome and powdercoat.

When dropping off parts always, ALWAYS go through Chris. He's there early, from about 5am to 1pm. Pickups can be done later with other staff. I can't compare OC to other plating companies but their end result looks amazing deep and rich when compared to most OEM I've seen. Their prep is thorough, but any unique details about your order need to be specified with Chris on drop-off to ensure you get the exact result you expect. Prices are not low, but you're paying for quality here.

First and last time using this company. sent 13 items to get chromed for my Harley, they told me 2 weeks, it took 2months, then when i did get my items back, you can see the copper color on some side of my items, you can see where they tied the wire to my parts, and still charged me full price, not good, i told all my buddies not to use them,
