I'm Armando Paz, the founder and President of AMAX Tax Pro. I started this company with every unique taxpayer in mind, in hopes of providing the best possible experience to my clients during the stressful tax season. AMAX Tax Pro is a tax preparation company that strives to get our clients the highest refund possible.
Whether you're a W-2, 1099, or anything in between, our experienced team of professionals make tax preparation a breeze with three ways to file. We start by asking the right questions. This helps us better understand your situation, followed by recommendations to ensure you always receive the maximum return on your taxes.
The IRS offers a program to those who can not afford to repay their tax debt. Those who qualify for this program must be unable to repay the debt in the time frame given by the IRS. The IRS may assess a variety of penalties on your tax account including late filing and late payment fees. Sometimes the penalties dwarf the actual tax debt.
Your mortgage company should send you Form 1098 which reports the mortgage interest you paid. If you received unemployment benefits from your state over the past year, you must claim that as income and, therefore, pay taxes on those benefits. The unemployment agency should provide you with a 1099-G form, which explains the amount of benefits you drew during the past year.

My experience with Armando and AMAX Tax Pro has been amazing. Armando was recommended by a friend who did their taxes with him at this location. I was hesitant since each year I've had a series of bad luck with my taxes. If it wasn't for missing information it was incorrect calculations made by the individual inputing it.
