Services
Ashland Health Center (AHC) is a comprehensive, rural community health complex that has been providing care to the greater Ashland community for over 50 years. AHC is proud of our service to the community through our 25-bed critical access hospital(includes 17 Senior Living Unit) and rural health clinic.
As we move forward, priorities must be set, and decisions must be made by the board and leaders. Similarly, every hour of everyday employees and medical staff must decide the right thing to do. We must all, individually and collectively, constantly be asking ourselves "what's important now?" The Foundations of Excellence were developed by our employees to exemplify our mission statement and to provide the cornerstone of our culture of service.
Ashland Health Center offers inpatient intermediate care when your loved one is unable to care for themselves. Our Senior Living Unit aids with activities of daily living and personalized care for our residents. We focus on improving the lives of our residents during their stay with us and when possible, help them to attain independent ability with activities of daily living and mobility so they can return to their homes.
Our social services department advocate for our community members through challenges that range from placement in one of our living facilities to navigating the Medicare or Medicaid systems. We assist families with level-of-care changes end of life decisions, providing them with emotion support and telling them about helpful resources that are available to help them.
