After writing my previous post, Michael contacted me immediately. He was very eager to do whatever he could to make us happy. He offered to demo and re-pour the one side of the deck as one pour so it would look better including the area where the new plumbing went under the patio and under the pool equipment at no charge. He also offered to reimburse us if we preferred to use another contractor. In the end we decided to go with another contractor and redo the entire deck all the way around including the entire patio, under the pool equipment, and to add drainage. I got a call back from a lady named Gina shortly after writing the prior review. She was quite apologetic for my initial calls falling in the cracks; apology accepted - I understand sometimes things just happen. It sounded truly unintentional.
Then I got a call from Michael, the owner, who immediately sent technician Brian to address my pool problems. Michael gave me an overview of what the job might entail - from simple and less costly solutions, to more complicated, expensive ones - should the situation warrant once my equipment is looked at. No pressure or push towards more costly

What won them the bid from us was honesty. Michael was very honest about what did and did not need to be done and he was eager to earn our business. The Yelp review rating accompanied with his honesty made us feel very comfortable with hiring them. The remodel process itself went almost exactly as explained with a few minor delays. The delays however were because the team doing the work wanted things to be as perfect as possible and we could not be happier with the results. Although we had a rocky first experience with Central OC OC Pools, they very much "turned our experience around" and deserve a 5 star review! We initially weren't happy with communication and the tile job but they heard our concerns loud and clear and did everything they could to make it up to us. Laurie has a wonderful personality and is great voice to the company. I really liked that she recommended calling the pool tile store in Anaheim for samples when no other companies did. As you can see in our photos, the tiles are beautiful and contemporary. They take pride in their company

Brand new backyard thanks to their crew! Our pool had been aging for years and seriously in need of a face-lift. From start to finish they did very impressive job.
Their prices were great compared to the competition. We shopped around way more than we should have and ultimately decided on Central OC Pools. So glad we did. They really went above and beyond to ensure that our pool turned out more than great. They have been servicing my pool and spa in Anaheim for the last couple years and the difference between them and my last company is night and day. They have excellent customer service and Michael is able to answer my questions. I can call Michael anytime and he always gets back to me in a timely manner. I had so much trouble with my pool so I had a few companies come by and look at it. I took some advice from the first guy that dropped by tried to clear it and charge me over a thousand dollars but my pool was still green and never felt clean. Michael came by and got it looking great in a week! They are now do my pool service every week for a great price.

Having Central OC Pools change our decrepit pump and heater was without a doubt the best experience we’ve had with ANY contractor. Micheal G. and his crew were responsive, punctual and very professional in their dealings with us. Most important, they delivered work that exceeded our expectations.
