We ordered a custom sofa from them last summer. Initially, the communication went well enough and we were sent leather samples to choose from. We placed an order for a chesterfield. We were told it would take about 6 weeks for the sofa to be completed. It arrived about 12 weeks later, which we figured was due to covid manufacturing and shipping challenges. No big deal. That’s when the problems started. We realized the sofa was a few inches shorter than specified. We reached out and the response we got was that it was within their tolerances for size variation.

Just received my Langston Chesterfield today and it is gorgeous. I was a little nervous buying online, but Anthony sent me samples and I found the perfect leather to match my end/coffee tables along with my kitchen table. Also recommend the shipping company they use as the delivery drivers were fast and friendly. They obviously were careful when transporting the sofa. Would recommend anyone looking for a well made sofa to check these guys out.

I ordered a sectional and a sofa from Iron & Oak. I'd give them a five based on quality. However, the customer experience and service was a "1". Upon our initial visit to the showroom, the husband was there and he seemed very distracted. I had requested extra legs on the sofa, but in the end this was not done, and I was told they couldn't be added, as I only realized this was not done upon our receipt of the sofa. I had been looking for a few weeks to purchase the Perfect Chesterfield for my Loft and when I came across this company and spoke with Mary Beth I felt extremely comfortable with her. 38 days and 2weeks later she didn't disappoint. I was on their site using the 'Chat' feature they have, which I found very convenient, since I was trying to gather info on leather types before I ordered my Chesterfield sofa & chairs. I was at work and the was the most convenient way for me to acquire what I needed. Apparently, this was not a very convenient way to communicate for them, as in the middle of my fact gathering, I was abruptly told I would have to call them instead to get the info I needed. They way it was done told me the person on the other end of the chat didn't want to bother with me. So...my question is

I had the pleasure to work with Marybeth and her husband when purchasing new custom sofas for my newly renovated apartment in NYC. I decided to rent a car and drive to Iron & Oak in NJ and it was well worth the trip (she even let me bring my dogs along for the road trip). I spent the afternoon with Marybeth and her husband creating my sofas by choosing fabrics, studs and finishes. I absolutely love their approach to their business which is all about quality craftmanship and customer service to the highest degree.

Manager of place sent me email following this review promising me he would come fix the button.
Guess what, He hasn't and I am sure he won't.
In the meantime , 3 more buttons have broken.
Stay away from this company. They will only appear professional when they are trying to get your business and then they will disappear and leave you with an expensive but mediocre product.

I recently received an armchair from of Iron & Oak- I’m thrilled with it. The materials and design are gorgeous and it’s difficult to overstate the exceptional build quality. It’s comfortable, solid and lush and the quality of leather adds tons of depth and character. Through delivery, the customer service was top notch. Since my order was online, they worked with me time and again to get it exactly right. So yes, in my experience they’re every bit as good as they look. It’s great to see an independent, American manufacturer create such an outstanding product.

Wow, Wow, and more Wow! Just got my sofa (thank you Anthony, Mary Beth, and wonderful son for bringing it to me) and it is a show stopper! I chose a mid-century sofa in Child's play jamboree (a kind of wine-shade), and the results were beyond magnificent. Iron and Oak does not sell from stock--they hand craft their furniture. I am not rich and shopped far and wide. What I got had absolutely the best quality materials and craftsmanship at a price comparable to factory stores. I give them my highest recommendation!!!

Went to this store because the items were Made in America. Ordered a duplicate of sofa in the store, they gave me something totally different. When I tried to talk to the husband, he kept bringing up the picture I took on delivery day of me sitting on the sofa smiling. With contractors and movers in the house and witnesses that states I kept saying "something was different with this sofa". Anthony knew it wasn't the right sofa, but kept talking and talking to throw me off his scent. Did a "bait and switch". Will never do business with him again. I even have the

We purchased a Chesterfield Sofa with Italian Mont Blanc leather from here and we are pleased. They have pics of the sofa as well as pics of them making the sofa on their website. The sofa is heavy because the material is a lot more stronger than your typical sofa. This furniture is built to last. The detail is amazing and they can customize the sofa to your liking. Mary Beth and Anthony were also very nice and great to work with. We will be buying more furniture from this place. The show room is very cool too with a lot of great restaurants nearby.
