Sea Safety is a premier distributor for cold water survival and rescue clothing in the New York City, New Jersey metropolitan area. Hypothermia is a major concern for any construction or industrial company working on or near waterways in the northeast United States. Being submerged in cold water can lead to hypothermia in under 20 minutes.
Not only do we sell products, we service them, allowing us to provide the best possible experience. We maintain certifications from Lloyd's Register, ABS, and the USCG and are a certified DoT Hydrostatic Testing station. Our trained and certified technicians follow the strict guidelines set forth by the equipment manfacturer and your vessel's regulatory authority to make sure your equipment is in compliance.
Sea Safety is able to design, install and provide complete service of CO2 Fire Suppression Systems in accordance with USCG and / or Class Regulations. Submitting design drawings to US Coast Guard and / or Class (ABS, Lloyd's, Etc.) for approval. Sea Safety is a distributor for Ansul Fire Protection, Kidde Fire Systems and NK Fire Systems.
As per United States Coast Guard (USCG) and International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements, immersion suits must be subjected to periodic tests and maintenance procedures. Sea Safety's trained technicians conduct thorough inspections required to ensure your Immersion Suits meet their designed operational readiness.
Ullage-Temperature-Interface (UTI) oil/water detector is provided for rapid and accurate determination of the oil/water interface in storage tanks. UTI detectors also advise the user of various temperatures of the monitored liquid/gas. We provide four-range temperature testing, oil/water interface testing, calibration, repairs and replacement of inoperative parts.
