Gutters are a critical part of the system that controls rainwater and drainage around your house and are an absolute necessity in our Wisconsin climate. Without proper storm water management, rainwater can damage your basement and foundation, rot roof lines and accelerate rot and mold growth on your siding and around door and window openings.
Guttersmiths is proud to be known as the go-to copper installation company in the Madison, WI area. Copper is a beautiful compliment to the exterior of any home, but is often a particularly good fit for historic properties or new homes designed to achieve the look of an "old world" residence. Sometimes the installation of copper is also necessary to meet historic preservation criteria on projects.

Five years ago, we had new gutters installed on our Victorian home by a different gutter company. The installation was shoddy, causing wood rot in several fascia boards. A home inspector we spoke to recommended that we call John Briggs at Guttersmiths. John and Marcus installed new gutters on our Victorian, including a very tricky curved and segmented section over our front porch. Guttersmiths provided both quality workmanship and help and advice on how to best prepare and repair before the gutters were hung. I was in need of a roof repair and Guttersmiths was the fastest of any local roofing company to respond to my inquiries. Due to a scheduling issue, which I precipitated, Guttersmiths was unable to start the work. John’s crew showed up on time, on the agreed upon day, and was completely professional when learning of the unusual circumstances. John’s follow-up was unexpected, courteous, and sincere. I would highly recommend Guttersmiths to anyone who has roofing needs

Guttersmiths installed high-quality gutters and downspouts on my house. Technically proficient and easy to work with, they are my only choice for gutters & downspouts.
A rental property had some DIY gutters spilling water onto the driveway. John took a look, replaced the gutters and moved the downspouts. Dry basement, no more ice on the driveway. Thanks John.
Client asked me who they should use for gutters & downspouts. Guttersmiths.

Above and beyond. We needed work while in the process of selling our home. John at Guttersmiths gave a fair and timely estimate for our gutter issues, and was able to help with some miscellaneous roof & shingle repair in addition to gutters. Great communication during a busy time before winter, great followup.

My Company hired Guttersmiths for major work on a National Veterans Cemetery Administrative Building. The company meet all the strict requirements required for government work. Guttersmiths exceeded all expectations in the performance of their contract. Of all the sub contractors I had ever worked with, I will say truthfully, Guttersmiths workmanship, attention to detail is second to none. We will be starting a major historic renovation, Veterans Hospital project in spring of 2014 and have no doubt Guttersmiths will be our sub contractor for all the copper work on this historic building.
