This practice is uninterested in providing good patient care. My husband has a hard time remembering and understanding what he is told. When I asked to speak with the physician assistant at the end of the visit or receive a phone call about the findings, I was told to read the patient printout; she was too busy. We will never go back. I am a nurse practitioner, btw. This constitutes AWFUL care.

I was there with my husband who was very anxious about his appointment. Despite great hesitation I got him an appointment with Gina within 2 weeks. We showed up at the office 20 minutes before our appt time and were taken back within 5 minutes of our arrival. Then Dawn came in to perform his history and reason for exam. She was kind, courteous and very professional. Then came Gina.....she approached my husband with such ease. She demonstrated such compassion once she recognize his anxiety she took time to explain what she was going to do and what she needed him to do to have a successful visit

Three years ago I went to see about a sore on my nose that wasn't healing. The first doctor just froze the spot. After a few months the sore started again. I went to another doctor at LVDA and he took a shallow biopsy and was told that there was no cancer and never heard from him again. A year later I moved out of state and went to a new dermatologist who took a deeper biopsy and found it was basal cell carcinoma. Now I have to have more invasive surgery which might have been prevented if the first or second doctor checked it more thoroughly.

Dr. Severs has changed my skin for the better! I had horrible acne as a teenager, went to multiple doctors and nothing helped. as I grew older it got worse. When I went to LVDA I was super impressed with the… clean facility and helpful staff. I was given proper medication and topical cream. My skin cleared up within a few weeks. When I called to schedule an appt. for a wart removal and overall body check (I have a history of skin cancer), I was told I would have to make two separate appts. I told the scheduler that I’ve seen other dermatologists without that being a problem. They take all of 10 - 15 minutes tops. I called back to cancel my appt. (go back twice with a $50 copay for a total of $100 and two trips to their office?) Then she had me speak with an office manager that just argued with me about how it was office policy because if the doc finds something suspicious, it will take time and you’ll need to come

Very busy practice that keeps expanding and the staff may need to grow to keep up. The billing department is very efficient but the doctors themselves have cancelled on me several times. Appointments are booked months in advance, which is a major drag if you really need to see someone ASAP. Waiting room and exam room hallways in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint. No parking lot - only street or garage.
