Lehman's tradition of excellence in Catholic secondary education dates back over 130 years to our first graduates in 1889.
Upon graduating from Lehman Catholic High School, you automatically become a member of the Alumni Association. The Lehman Catholic High School Alumni Association yearly bestows Hall of Fame honors on deserving alumni and friends of Lehman. These awards are granted to candidates based on service to their community, service to the Lehman Catholic High School community, professional achievements and/or service to the Catholic community.
Fifty years ago leaders saw a vision for strong Catholic high school education and came together to set the course for what soon became Lehman Catholic High School. Now fifty years later we have witnessed the success of their vision.

The 79 bishops who gathered in Baltimore for the historic Third Plenary Council in 1884 decreed that within two years, every Catholic parish would establish a school, or the pastor would be replaced. The action encouraged Catholics in the area, who had earlier established grade schools, to begin planning for the establishment of high school education.
You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.
