Radish Republic is a premier urban grocery store, specializing in local food from small farms and businesses in our area of the Lehigh Valley and this region of SE PA. People ask what is a Radish Republic? We are a new concept in grocery shopping. A Republic is a body of persons freely engaged in a specific activity.
For us as former farmers, it is a Radish Republic because we are involved in the activity of local food and local food businesses. Food is the basis of life, it has value and should not be a commodity to be wasted. The food we sell is high quality, organic whenever possible and delicious. The size of a modern grocery store is getting larger all the time and the waste produced is also larger.

I love this place. Minimalist selection, but all of the products are of exceptional quality and don't leaving me wishing for more. The stocked items account for about 90% of my regular grocery purchases. In a store like Whole Foods I might find 100% of what I want, but it accounts for <5% of their stocked selection and therefore I spend much more time shopping, impulse buying, and overeating. All the seafood appears to be sustainably caught and not farmed, but also from reputable sources (gulf caught shrimp, alaskan cod and salmon, etc.. ). All of the produce and dairy goods appeared to be organic

Today was my first visit to Radish Republic. I loved this store choices filled with fresh produce, fresh bulk grains, soup and sandwiches of the day. I tried the chicken salad sandwiches and it was awesome. The wheat bread was so fresh and the chicken salad had a hint of lemon with fresh herbs. So yummy! I also purchased a container their fresh guacamole that was amazing. I will definitely go back to try the soup feature of the day.

I drive 20 minutes to shop here and it's totally worth the drive. I love being able to source local, fresh fruits and veggies year-round and enjoy trying their additional grocery items such as nut butters, sauces, the list goes on (also locally sourced). We have tried their prepared sandwiches, which are delicious, and look forward to trying more. Service is always friendly and it's located in a really cute little area.

First time in here was today. The owner used to own a farm next to my mother so I know how hard he and his family work. It's awesome that they finally got a store up and running.
I also know that they would never stock a product they didn't believe in. So everything is what it says it is. No mislabeling and actual local sourcing.
Tons of selection when comes to meats. A good selection of mushrooms that I was very into.
A lot of interesting stuff I haven't seen anywhere else.
I think this is a great addition to downtown Allentown and I implore you to check it out. Support honest
