Being a fun-loving family, we wanted to extend that feeling of freedom we felt at the OBX. So, we took a chance and started our first beach store with only 600 square feet of retail space and no idea which way the wind would blow. Well, that summer we were a hit. And then it didn't stop but kept on going year-round.
We quickly outgrew that first store, and now, 18 years later, we're still sharing Outer Banks munch satisfaction and sandy grit wit with our many happy customers. We came in here just to see what the place had. Their name was definitely eye catching! The staff was really attentive and nice. He had us try a lot of different things that actually enticed us to buy more than what we wanted. We didn't really we liked dirty white trash! Lol. It's a combination of chex, nuts pretzels covered in white yogurt. It was divine! I bought a few little boxes for myself and bought the giant tub for my friend since she couldn't afford it. My other friend bought some pecans and nuts. We tried the banana yogurt nuts which sounded weird but it was surprisingly

This place is AWESOME! They have some really cool stuff here to buy. If you're into really HOT sauces for wings or whatever else this is your place to visit! They have some EXTREMELY HOT sauce for whatever you want to eat it with. Really cool shirts and other stuff to buy. Their "Dirty White Trash" chocolate covered mix is soooooooooo good!!! Man it's good. I definitely recommend visiting here.

Awesome place. First time visiting. We ended up getting pecans, pistachios, cashews, and some white trash. All are delicious. Especially the pecans. I particularly love pecans and im now back home from the obx in pecan heaven with all my pecans. 🤗 I got several varieties of them. All scrumptious coatings. Can't find anything like them where I live so I stocked up. We actually have some pecan trees on our property but the darn squirrels steal every last dang one of them and never leave me a single pecan 😠Then again we also do nothing to protect the trees lol. We came here for hot sauce bc they have a variety of different ranges.
They offer different varieties of peanuts and chocolate covered items. They also have some T-shirts that are hilarious.
They have some snackies called white trash which is really good.
I'd definitely recommend and come back next time I'm here.

The guy running the store was rude and he wasn't helpful, and after about 5 minutes he was trying to rush us out. He asked my friend if he was walking in circles for some ridiculous reason, the store is already small so we didn't have a choice. He was implying/trying to make us leave early. We weren't done looking, everything is overpriced, 17$ for a small bag of nuts. We were thinking about buying something, but because he didn't want our business we decided to leave. Late in the season and we can always count on TMN KDH, to be open with full shelves. This is the time we do early shipping for Christmas gifts. They have a huge "wall of fire", and a friendly staff that has always guided us In those selections!!

We just wanted to get some fudge, but they didn't have any CHOCOLATE. Ridiculous! Ended up buying some almonds (made & pre-packaged somewhere else) and they were STALE. Plus the fact that that the man working here was insisting multiple times that we "try his nuts" despite saying no thanks that we didn't like the kind he was sampling, it was very creepy. I understand they are going for a gimmick, but this was at the point of harassment. Not funny.

Expensive and with variable quality, just be careful. Our recent purchase of a bag of Butta Toasted Peanuts were about 25% rancid. That is a big no-no with us, especially for the price. They also were not good quality peanuts to start with. The pecans of the same coating flavor were delicious, I must say. My rating is for serving poor grade, rancid peanuts at this price.
If you want butter toasted peanuts, go to High Cotton or find one of the great companies in Wakefield, VA and order some.

Stumbled oppon this store in kitty hawk NC. The name TRY MY NUTS caught my attention. The marketing is genius. So I had to stop and check it out.
Try my nuts is... You guessed it a nut shop. I will let you know there nuts are a step above just store bought nuts. I wouldn't call them gourmet nuts. But... They have a lot of different types and flavors and funny names to there products.
I ended up purchasing the honey toaster pecans. The nuts are really good. The 16oz pack of honey toasted pecans cost $15. They are very good. I would def recommend getting these. I also bought a smaller pack
