In 1954 HJ Summey and partner purchased A.A. McCall Plumbing and Heating, a 30 year old Hendersonville contracting firm, located on 3rd Ave east and King St. They successfully operated this business through 1975, when sons Steve and Jack Summey incorporated Summey Plumbing & Heating Inc. In 1983 they purchased additional adjoining property, and constructed a 6000 sq.
In 1987 due to the growing company with the need for additional space resulted in the purchasing of property located on 925 Greenville Hwy., where the company still resides to this day. While most of our work is focused in the Hendersonville area, the company has contracted jobs as far south as Charleston SC and north, to Fairfax Virginia.

I hired Summey to help install a new bathroom on the lower level of my home in Hendersonville. They came up with a great suggestion for plumbing the toilet that saved substantial effort and cost. Their pricing was very competitive. They arrived on time and did very high quality work. They completed the project on time. I would certainly hire them again.

After having work done yesterday on our well at Blue Ridge Humane Society, we came into the Adoption Center to find issues with our water flow and drainage which is very important in keeping the animals clean. After I tired my best to fix everything including the toilets, I ran into needing parts that we didn’t have. With animals at the center and a staff needing to spend the night because of the snow, we needed help fast. Mark from summeys came within 30 minutes and in a couple hours had everything running. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this place. They are very busy and managed to squeeze my time frame in just to help. I was skeptical at first because I work long hours so my wife would be alone dealing with the issues we were having. but she informed me that the two guys that came out were extremely professional. Even took the time to educate on where things were in the house if we were to ever run into any other issues. All of this was over a tube leaking in my kitchen. My wife told me they heard my toilet running and in the blink of an eye they decided to fix that too. The price was

Top Notch! Highly recommend. Everyone at Summey Plumbing I dealt with were the most professional, courteous and most of all performed excellent work. They did exactly what I asked for and then some. I am so glad I finally found a REAL plumber. I knew right away I made the right choice. The trucks are well organized, stocked and contained everything required to complete the work without having to run back and forth to a plumbing supply store as other experiences I have had. If you want the best then give them a call. You will not be disappointed.
