Learn about the history of the Sandler Center, employment opportunities, and other fun things about the venue we call home. For more than a decade, the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts has offered residencies to some of Hampton Roads' most innovative and groundbreaking performing arts organizations.
In addition to the main entrance, Bank and Commerce Street enterances are also wheelchair accessible. Once inside the Sandler Center, elevators are available to provide access between levels. Handicap accessible seating is available at various locations throughout the Sandler Center. Handicap seating is available to the patron with the disability and one guest.
This annual free outdoor concert series takes place from 5:00 - 9:00 pm on the Sandler Center Outdoor Plaza every Wednesday from July - September. Over the series, visitors will enjoy music ranging from country to rock to blues to Motown.

Outstanding acoustics and comfortable seating in close proximity to the stage make this 1,308-seat performance hall perfect for large meetings, lectures, and presentations. It is equipped with a 35' x 20' projection screen that can accommodate anything from teleconferences to film festivals. This beautiful studio theatre is the Sandler Center's rehearsal hall, equipped with ballet bars, sprung floor, and its own lighting.
