When I first tried Ryan's cakes, I felt as though I had never eaten a cake or cheesecake before. Every bite just melted In my mouth! I bought different cakes for my family and they all agreed! The five flavor pound cake was moist and flavorful, only quality natural tasting flavors, really good! The german chocolate cake was some of the best I have had. The Mountain Dew cobbler had really good flavor but was a little too sweet for me. The cheesecake was delicious, a fluffier texture, which may not be to the liking of those who like a really dense consistency but still great!

Cake Affect was a vendor at the Union Pop-up event and had amazing cake slices available. I had the five flavor cake - it was terrific! Moist, light, sweet and delicious. The only problem - I should have bought another slice - it was that good! I also enjoyed the peach cobbler and I’m looking forward to visiting the shop soon. Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

We are fairly new to the area and I have been looking for a bakery. I read a bunch of reviews and decided to try Cake Affect. I am soooo glad I tried it! I ordered one Love Mahoney (german chocolate) cake and one Sunshine Lemon cake. They were both delicious! The Love Mahoney was rich and moist with a fudge like icing - my husband said it was the best he had. The Sunshine Lemon was moist with a lemon curd that was sweet and tangy and some sweet icing. I purchased several desserts from Angie. The cheese cake, red velvet, and lemon cakes were delicious. My husband loved the cheesecake, and the red velvet had the best frosting on any red velvet cake that I have ever tried. Lastly, my son was ecstatic that he could have the lemon cake all to himself.
After he took the first bite he was all smiles. We will definitely purchase from them again. I love amazing service and amazing cakes!

I just happen to see the sign while we were in Indian Trail. It is always nice to discover hidden gems. Everything is made from scratch and the flavors are absolutely amazing. We tried several different slices of cake and they all were delicious. Red velvet cake with layer of icing inside was my favorite. Owner Angela was really nice too. Support this great local business and check it out.
