Our mission is to remove any interference, and empower you to take control of your health! I was lucky in growing up for so many reasons. I grew up in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, the oldest of 9 kids.
Nancy is an Acupuncturist certified in Neurological Integration System (NIS). Her clinical interests include: pain management, women's health, stress management, stroke rehabilitation and chronic illness. She specialize in sports medicine acupuncture, functional neurology and ear acupuncture. I am very fortunate to have lived my entire life in the Pacific North West.

I have suffered from severe mold allergies for the past three years leaving me in bed for most of the time even a small moldy berry could set my allergies off and I would get extremely dizzy and had extreme head pressure and became very sensitive with food. My son was fully restored from concussion symptoms by NIS and Dr O'Dwyer. He had a dirt biking accident which resulted in a bad concussion. I have been going to chiropractors for years for my back pain.I woke up one morning and could hardly get out of bed.I had to finish a project I was working on and had to go to work. My regular chiropractor could not get me in for a few days. I contacted Fidalgo Island Health Center and was able to get in right away with Dr. Peter O'Dwyer.He was very thorough and explained everything to me during my appointment. I saw Peter O’Dwyer after days of excruciating pain. He listened carefully, asked a few questions and within minutes correctly diagnosed and treated my condition. My pain dropped by 85% in minutes and I feel better generally than I have in years. Went for a couple mile walk yesterday and heading out today for a longer one. He also introduced me to cold laser treatment that I am focusing on my knees. Without this I either wouldn’t be walking or I would be in line for knee replacement. So grateful!

For many months I was having several concurrent maladies including severe gastrointestinal pain, neuromas on the bottom of my feet and chronic lower back pain. I had seen numerous doctors who dealt with my issues by treating the symptoms with various drugs. I first met Dr.Bentz when my black lab was diagnosed with lymphoma, in 2002. I'd been to a chemotherapy Vet clinic in Seattle the day before, with Clyde. So thankful to have my daughter become a patient of Dr Bentz, he has successfully helped my 15 month with her constant ear infections and when I accidentally passed on my cold sores to her, he squeezed us into his busy schedule and reassured me with his treatment she won't have to battle these for her lifetime. Great and caring staff also! Definitely recommend him if you are looking for an alternative way of treating medical aliments.
