Native Construction is a full service development, design, and construction company based in Nashville, Tennessee. Our mission is to design, develop, and build the highest quality homes with unique architecture in some of the most sought after neighborhoods around town. We are able to accomplish this approach by incorporating past architectural styles with contemporary, on-trend models that are visually compatible with each unique neighborhood.
Native Construction is owned by native Nashvillians, Keith & Michelle Dowd, who have over 20 years of real estate investing experience in the Middle Tennessee area. Keith began his career buying distressed properties to flip in 1998. Having formerly owned and operated his own development company and construction business, Keith decided to bring it all under the Native Construction umbrella.

Built and owned by native Nashvillian, Keith Dowd, Native Construction grew from roots that were established with Keith's first construction company, Layfield Construction. Named after Keith's great grandfather's family, who were also builders, Keith and his father, Gary, managed every facet of Layfield from development to construction---including interior and architectural design, marketing, and sales.
